Why is it that my husband doesn't think that he needs to ever help me with the kids?  Is this something that all men do or is it just in my house?  I am ready to run into a room screaming and I am tired of hearing that it is my job.  I understand that when it comes to the house work, but not our kids.  We both had a hand in bringing them into the world and we should both have to share responsibility in raising them.  I need a break too once in a while.  I would just like to take a bath by myself for once.  Is that too much to ask?

sounds like my house. I get so pissed at DH. He'd rather sit on his ass in front of the TV than help out. He gets pissed off when I ask him to stay home until after the baby is in bed. I've told him that if he doesn't start helping me with DS than I'm going to not do ANYTHING on his days off and he can see what I do. I've gone on strike twice and he fine started helping.

I would go on strike but I am scared that the baby will be in a dirty diaper all day cause he wont look away from the t.v. long enough to notice.  And anyways, whenever I leave the kids with him for a second, he calls his mom to help and she comes running to his side.  It makes me crazy.
