I wanted to have sex...so far the past three days we've been unable to (due to being too tired, Christian staying up too late, etc.). Tonight I finally get him to sleep, he's in his own bed, we're both a little tired, but whatever. So I ask DH if he wants to. He said he didn't know...I was the one who was going to have to get up early tomorrow morning, get Christian ready for daycare, I was the one who had to suffer from staying up too late to have sex.

Then he says, "But I won't stop you."

Great--that's exactly the kind of pillow talk I want.

So I said nevermind we didn't have to and we started to cuddle. Now I"m mad and can't go to sleep. I want to have sex, but he fell asleep after 2 seconds of being in bed (like always). I really don't feel like waking him up.

I'm so mad. :-(

Jun. 1, 2008 at 9:21 PM I wish I could even begin to understand how you feel.....but I don't.  Normally I have to beat my DH with a club and hammer to keep him away.  I am lucky he hasn't tried to molest me in the middle of the night.  I don't have a healthy sex drive.  What's your secret?

Jun. 1, 2008 at 9:33 PM I understand you wanting him to be a little more hot & sexy with the pillow talk but you know, sometimes that's just how guys are.  I bet if you would have started something, he would have been all into it.  My DH just loves to grope me, it drives me nuts & not in a good way.  That's his way of telling me he wants it.  14 years of telling him that I don't like that & there are better ways to approach me, still he does that or he makes gestures, etc. that I find disgusting or totally juvenile!  Men are so weird!  I dont' know about Kris, but Mike has never stopped me when I have "attacked" him after he's gone to sleep.  Maybe you just need to go for it so you can get some sleep.  You poor thing!  I know how sex starved you have been...I totally understand you being mad!  Of course, you know, I have almost no sex drive so DH is usually on the receiving end of the rejection.  My drive has been a lot better lately though!!

There's always tomorrow night. At least that's what my poor hubby says when I turn him down:) I am usually the one complaining and not wanting to because I am tired or crabby.
