Well, this morning started out horrible. My cat, jack passed away. I'm not sure what to think, or how it happened. But for the past 2 days, he's been acting funny. It started when, on friday morning, my hubby was walking backwards and accidentaly stepped on him. He thought he just got his paw, but Jack let out an awful cry.
He seemed to be eating fine Friday. But friday night, hubby said he kept going into the litter box every few minutes. I gave him a can of wet food- he only ate half then ended uo throwing up the other half sometime through the night. saturday I wasn't home, but when I got home, Chris said he was acting funny.. so I sat and pet him for a long time, them went to bed...

When I woke up at 7am to make Julieann her bottle, I wanted to check on jack.. Thats when I found him. He passed away sometime between 3am and 7am.

So before we let our son out of his room when he woke up, We placed him in a box with his bed.. And Chris went to his parents house to bury him. My parents came over to see me and make sure everything was ok..

After they left, I got on the internet and checked my email to find out that the puppy I've been wanting was finally ready to come home today. I thought alot.. about the whole Am I ready for another pet? and all that suff.. and I decided to go anyways and see if it felt right. The second I picked her up, I knew she was suppose to be part of our family...

She is a major Mutt puppy...aka heniz 57. She's lab/rott/begal/shepard/shitzzu.. Her face is shapped like a Begal. She'll probley get to 35lbs.
Anyways, heres her pictures they sent me today before I went to pick her up.

She's extremely low key and very relaxed, loves being on our lap and petted. She's WONDERFUL with the two kids. She doesnt mind Julieann pulling at her hair, or Christopher (almost 2 years) carrying her around.. She's really small, around 5 lbs...right now

HELP ME NAME HER!!!!!

And she has super cute spots on her back!

Jun. 1, 2008 at 10:17 PM That puppy is Really cute............  I'm sorry about the cat.....  things happen I know, but thats a typical man, thinking it was nothing 'stepped on its paw'.....  ya, right........  that just sucks....  men are really stupid sometimes.  I hope he's more careful

Jun. 1, 2008 at 10:21 PM i can relate to losing  a cat     my friend had passed away 2 years ago from cancer    i took her cat in because he was one of the family and the people that were living her trailor wanted to have him destroyed so i risked losing my apartment to have him here and he ended up being put to sleep because he stopped eating all together and became real weak

Jun. 1, 2008 at 10:22 PM THe spots remind me of a stegasourasus's spikes. Maybe Dino from Flintstone's or something like that. She is precious though! I am sorry to hear about Jack. I know how that feels.
