I was reading something and just wanted to share

philpippians 3:12  it reads I don't mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that  I have already reached the mark of perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me.  ---- 13 No dear brother and sisters, I have not achieved it,*but I focus on this one thing : Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,----14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which  God through Christ Jesus , is calling us.

Sometimes our past paralyzes us from doing what God called us to do. Paul gave up everything to know God and for most of his ministry even his freedom. Paul had a lot of things from his past that could have stropped him from serving Jesus after all he was one Saul who sought out and killed the Christians And he held the coats of those who stoned Stephen the first Christian martyr . We all have things we are ashamed of but its soooo cool to know that God is not surprised by our mistakes he is the only one who knows everything about us the things we don't want anyone else to know but guess what God knows and he still love us he uses us.  Pain has purpose everything that we are going through doesn't just happen..... We can decide to  make a decsion  of devotion  that means  I  press on I have chosen to devote  my life to God and not let anything keep me from doing his will.  It isn't always easy  to live this life but  I remind myself to focus on God.  No matter what I go through God is my strength . And my choice has already been made.
