We had an excellent day. We started off by taking an hour or two here at home deciding what we wanted to do. Always fun. Heh. But anyway--We decided on a Zoo trip which got Delia really excited. She misses the Memphis Zoo. When we lived in TN for a year and a half (we don't like to remember it.. heh), we lived literally right down the street from the Zoo. We got a yearly pass shortly after we moved there and I'd just pop Delia into the Stroller every few days and we'd spend the day--just her and I.  We plan on getting a Pass to Roger Williams Zoo now that we're back home. We'll probably do that next month or so. Anyhoo. We had an absolute blast. They're re-doing a lot of the areas of the Zoo and adding some new exhibits. I can't wait to see what it will be like when it's completed. I got some amazing shots, and it was fun for everyone.

After our time there, we took the Kids to McDonald's for Dinner, since we were already out and I didn't feel like cooking. We let them play for a bit in the Play area. Hunter just watched Delia go all around and through the tubes, cheering her on the whole time. He wanted nothing to do with the thought of venturing in himself, but he had fun.

We decided to treat the Kids to Ice Cream before heading home. Delia and I got Bubblegum Softserve Cones, Hunter got Banana Softserve in a bowl, and Dan got Lemon Softserve.

They were both quite exhausted by the time we got home. After the tub, Hunter crashed out for the night. Delia watched a bit of Dragon Tales, had some popcorn, brushed her teeth, and went to bed.

We haven't had a day like this in a long time. It was needed and so appreciated by all of us. I took about 134 pictures, and I'll include some of my favorite shots below:
