My son, since having started to gain a vocabulary in the last six months, is amused and obssessed with certain words....some days i find it comical...other days, not so......right now the word is "rabbit"....he likes the way his lips bounce off each other when he says the double b sound.....and he asks us to say it and he comes right in close to our lips to watch our lips do the same thing and he laughs and laughs....

a while ago, it was frog...which was an unfortunate mispronunciation as the "F" word...oh no.....!!!!!   and sometimes when he would say it, it would be so appropriate !!!!!   but we know it was frog, because he would point to pictures of a frog and say the same thing.....

he does a lot of babbling too...and in his babbles, he makes the same sounds over and over hubby and I laugh when he gets going sometimes because he's got this one "babble" that sounds like he's saying "screwwwwwwwwwwww youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu"

Jun. 2, 2008 at 6:42 AM When my oldest nephew was a toddler (wow... that was a while ago!), at the beginning of "T" words, he would instead use "F."  Frash instead of Trash, Fummy instead of Tummy. And the one that always got me... Fruck intead of Truck. "Banny? (Brandi) You see dat big fruck go by? Was BIG fruck! You see that frucker in'nair? He nice frucker. He wave hi to me!"
