My daughter used to get her legs stuck between the slats in the crib... ( above the knee ) OUCH!!! It happened more than once. I wanted to call the crib company and rip them a new-one, buit, they went out of business.. Go figure.. I really don't remember what we did.... I think we may have put her into the twin bed with the rails down the side.. I do know she was a little over a year when we did that..

Good luck.. Call the company and let them know this is happening.. I was always afraid of breaking her leg trying to get her unstuck.. It really was a hazzard....And it took 2 of us to get her out..  :-((

Jun. 2, 2008 at 8:37 AM At 13 months any/all bumper pads should be out of the crib..can you pull the crib away from the wall?  Many young children do put their legs out of the bars in the crib....I think if you were to put larger bumper pads the child will just learn to climb out of the crib, using them as a means to do so.

Jun. 2, 2008 at 8:58 AM My dd did that too, she's in a toddler bed now and has been since about a week after her first birthday. Not because of the getting stuck thing but because I was afraid of her falling out. Anywho, I never did figure anything out I just had to keep unsticking her. I would say move the crib away from the wall a little bit but thats really all the advice I have for you. Good luck! I know it sucks to see them hurt!
