my husband is one lucky lad around this time of year. he gets 3 big days to celebrate. so i've been thinking. there are some things that i really want to get for him

(AND IF YOU ARE READING THIS THEN YOU ARE RUINING ALL OF IT, SHAME ON YOU DEAR HUSBAND... SHAME ON YOU)

so anyhow, here are some ideas. tell me what you think. for our anniversary i was hoping to get a sitter and then have the 2 of us go out down town. i never plan anything for us for our anniversary. i get so overwhelmed by everything else that i end up not doing anything. bad bad wife. so. i plan on calling my MIL and having her watch the kiddie while i take him out for a romantic night on the town.

as for fathers day... i was thinking either a wii (which i'll need help with because i have no idea what else to purchase to go with a wii) or a leather recliner (could also be a gift for me... new furniture). but these gifts are kind of big so they'd be a father's day birthday COMBO package. and everyone hates those gifts. then you're left empty handed on a big day. maybe for his birthday i could get him a pair of tickets for a browns game... argh! this is tough! any ideas momma's?!

  • wii
  • leather recliner
  • brown's tickets
  • beer's from around the world package (they send you a new beer each month sorta thing)
  • world's greatest dad t-shirt.   :o)

Jun. 2, 2008 at 11:04 AM Maybe keep it simple for father's Day and then go for the Wii for the Birthday. I want one terribly. I am still trying to convince Ryan they look fun. He is a PS3 junkie. *sigh*

Jun. 2, 2008 at 11:06 AM I think the Wii and then a shirt would be a good father's day birthday combo! Then the kiddie's can play with it too with Dad!

Jun. 2, 2008 at 12:21 PM I say the Wii (bday) is a good gift if he is a game type guy, we have really enjoyed ours.  Then for fathers day just do a little something small like a nice yummy breakfast of his choice that you make for him while he sleeps in
