What my name means...and the family

Well - I never looked into my middle name meaning until I saw the post question for the day...My first name is Kristen - which means "Christian" which is spot on!!! :)  My middle name is Marie - which I found out today means "Bitter" - missed target there.  Although I have times of bitterness - I am far from a bitter person....Very odd

My daugher is Katelyn - which means "Pure" - totally spot on - and I can't seem to find a meaning for her middle name May - other than "the fifth month of the year" which is insane.  I named her after my best friend - her middle name is May.   (Her daughters middle name is Marie). 

 My husbands names means "supplanter" which I didn't know what that meant so I looked it up - supplanter - one who wrongfully or illegally seizes and holds the place of another - um - okay that is not right...and his middle name is Daniel which means "God is my judge"...interesting!!!

Obviously people who say, "you can tell a lot about a person by their name" would be terribly off base with my family!!!
