Good afternoon ladies!  Well, my husband and I had quite a scare over the weekend.  I started bleeding on Saturday night and I am 31 weeks pregnant!  Oh my goodness, Shane went crazy!  He was telling me to call the doctor over and over again.  My main concern was Kaleb.  So, after I calmed Shane, and myself down a little, I poked at my belly for a few minutes and he moved.  Boy, was I relieved!  My mom told me that it shouldn't be that big of a deal and that I should just go to sleep.  She told me that if I was still bleeding in the morning that I should go ahead and call the doctor.  Well, I ended up calling the doctor.  She had me come on in to the emergency room.  They hooked me up to all these monitor things and asked me a bunch of questions.  Turns out his heart is beating just fine and him and I are both healthy.  The doctor told us that they really can't explain it.  It's called "spotty bleeding."  She told me not to worry about it unless the bleeding continued.  As soon as she told me that, all I could do was praise God!  Because of Him, Kaleb and I are healthy.  I thank God every day for the miracles he performs in my life.  The bleeding stopped today and Kaleb's still moving and kicking like a little champ!  The doctor also told me that I definitely wouldn't make it to my due date.  He'll be here some time mid-July.  We are so excited!  Unfortunately Shane will be in Korea.  We will video tape it though, I can't wait!  That's enough for now, I'll keep everyone up-dated!  Hope everyone's having a blessed day!

Jun. 4, 2008 at 4:05 PM You may think of checking w/ your doctor/hospital about setting up a web cam. Not for "down there", but so your husband can you and the baby. If nothing else, may invest in one for your home. I can't imagine how hard it must be for your husband to be gone. You seem very positive, good for you! Good luck!!!

Jul. 20, 2008 at 9:10 AM I am glad that everything worked out for you!  Praise God!  My youngest son is named Kaleb and you don't see is spelled with a "K" very often.  Good choice!  I bet you are getting pretty excited to see your little man!
