For a year I lived in a city that I really didnt like to much. It was okay but I was bored. Add to that all my friends and family claimed the reason they didnt visit often was because it was an hour away from where they lived. So we moved back to the city. So we could be closer to everyone. So far we have been here since Jan and have had three visitors. The rent is about $400 more for a smaller place and the only difference in us being here is that we are here. No one goes out of their way to visit or even call. We are broke just trying to keep up and I am tired of going to the laundrymat when I used to have my own washer and dryer.

At the end of our lease we are moving back. We have to be able to take care of our family. Point blank. This is too expensive and we have a baby coming in September. No one else is going to pay my bills so I am headed back to a boring city that is safe for my kids to play outside and where I am not so close to my neighbor that I can hear when their toilet flushes.

LeeLe...
Jun. 3, 2008 at 11:06 AM Wow, why do they do that? It doesnt make any sense. Hey if you are feeling led to move then move. I agree with you. Part of the reason why I want to move has a lot to do with the environment. Where I want to move is closer to more suited for my lifetstyle, and the way I want to raise my daughter too.

Jun. 4, 2008 at 12:01 AM one thing i've learned in Islam is that family will not avail you.. meaning that you have to do what is right and in accordance with God because on the day of judgment your family, mother, fahter, husband, children.. friends, will wish u will jump in the fire for them.. and they will not be able to do anything for you if your deeds in this world...awards u a seat in the fire.. so i do what i think is pleaseing to the Creator.. a girls gotta do what she gotta do.
