It's the time of year where my peeps get a little bit louder, a little bit prouder, we get a little more hope, and we feel united.  We even get a little bit more respect (just a little).  It comes at the perfect time of year...right before Independence Day.  We celebrate being Puerto Rican and then we celebrate being Americans.  We are not one or the other.  We are both.  We are not immigrants, we are born Americans- even if we weren't born on the soil.  We love both lands equally.  HATERS LEAVE NOW AND WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR!  Yo Soy Boriqua, Pa Que Tu Lo Sepas!
