I'm feeling satisfied with my life tonight.  I love my man, I love my kid.

Today I had a great parenting day.  Eleanor and I went grocery shopping and had fun chasing each other through the store finding stuff.  Then we came home and planted the basil plant we got and made dinner.  Then we took a bath together, singing Rubber Duckie the whole time.  Afterwards she didn't want to put on lotion, a must in our dry climate.  So I told her I'd do it as fast as I could and made the "tickle tickle" sound and she laughed and laughed.  She let me do the dishes after that while reading to her self, and then I read to her when I finished.  Finally Allan got home and we spent some time as a family brushing the dog.

Then Eleanor went to bed after some cuddling, and I got some precious time talking with my husband about his day at work.

*I have a roof over my head

*I have food to put on my table

*I have a goofy family that I love and who loves me

Sure we're plat broke being Allan's a student, and sure it's stressful both of us working 2 jobs to get by and we are always tired.  But I wouldn't change it for the world.  We appreciate each other, we treasure our time when we're together.

I love my life, I love my family, I love you.
