My favorite book of all time is Little Women. I love that book! My mom had bought me a huge hardback beautiful collector's edition.....and somehow, through many moves, I have sadly lost it. I would love to find another one like that.......anyhoo....

My fave character........I think that it would have to be all four of the March girls. I fancied that I would have liked to have all of the qualities of each of them rolled into one great me! lol......

Jo was~ independent, creative, spoke her mind

Meg was~ Mature, ladylike, dependable

Amy was~ beautiful, artistic, very imaginative

Beth was~ shy, musical, soft-spoken, content

I love the era that that book is written in. Simple ways. Everyone believes in helping one was commonplace!

I hope to find a good copy of it soon....I want to start reading it to my girls at night.......

Jun. 3, 2008 at 12:54 AM OMG i right there with you. I love that book. I love little men also. i've read them so many times. I do have to say that Jo is my favorite out of all of them. I think what draws me to her is how out spoken she is. And how no one can tell her she can't do something. Becouse she's going to do it no matter what anyone thinks.

I haven't read that book in forever.  I'm sure we'll read it for homeschool eventually.  When I was waaay younger, I loved The Babysitters Club and Sweet Valley Twins.  Then I loved Ann Rice and a bunch of dark stuff.  Then I graduated in to the rag mags like US and People...every single week.  Now I read Karen Kingsbury and Beth Moore.  Oh...and I loved Pride and Prejudice!!

OK...Noah wants to read.  Let me check your last journal, and then I've got a reading date :)
