I have decided I am going to try to remember to do these themed posts. I think it's a really neat idea and I would like to keep it up!

So to answer today's question, yes I read as a child, especially as 10-17 year old. I loved all the Fear Street Books, Baby Sitter's Club books, Christopher Pike, and Sweet Valley Twins books......As I got older I would spend my lunch time in the library reading. I loved reading so much, that sometimes it hurt to end a book. For instance when I was probably 12 or 13, I became so attached to a male character in a book,t hat I thought I "loved" him, and when he died in the end, I cried. Really cried, and even wrote about it in my diary and how much I missed him and loved him, LOL! That is probably something I will NOT share with anyone else in my real life!!!!! But hey I was a kid. I always wanted to be one of the sweet Valley Twins as well. Jessica. Because she was pretty and popular and everything every teenage girl wants to be. But in a way I also wanted to be her twin Elizabeth because she was all the same, but had a steady popular boyfriend. Even now as an adult I read. I just upped my level. I like Nicholas Sparks, John Saul, Dean Koontz, Lisa Gardner, and even Daniele Steel!  I would however like to go back and read all the Fear Street books again. I know they are for teens, but somehow I was always intrigued by what R.L. Stine would come up with next. I used to own almost all of them and sold them in a yard sale when I was younger. I'd like to buy them back and read them again and save them for my girls when they get older. I saw some on Ebay...I just may do that. Gosh I am such a dork!
