And what is your favorite??? My daughter has gone to the store in her halloween coutume in February, my sisters boys are ALWAYS wearing either their cami's or have gone shoppiong wearing batman masks..LOL I swear they looked like they were going to rob the place... My other daughter has gone to school wearing things that just don't match in any way, shape or form., I had to send in a letter letting her teacher know that she dressed herself this morning..LOL...

Jun. 3, 2008 at 9:21 AM Lauren can dress herself better than her dad does. She matches colors, and know what an "OUTFIT" is,,, LOL. Then again, she does wear her Cinderella dress all the time. I have explained over and over that she can wear it to Grandma's house but not to the store. Then last week we saw a little girl in her dress and she was quick to put me in my place. "You can wear your princess dress to the store" is what she informed me.

Jun. 3, 2008 at 9:27 AM Yeah, well just last night Grant had his "soccer" socks on & rolled them down to his ankles ,b/c that was the first pair he found & he was too lazy to look for another pair,... LOL, so I did make him go get another pair. Kids will be kids, & as my grandmother use to say "they're only little once", so let them be goofy & dress a lil' different, cause' one day, they will grow up & you'll have black mail pictures,... LOL

Jun. 3, 2008 at 9:35 AM last week I got my 6 year old girl dressed and sent her in her room to get some tennis shoes on - I had dressed her in a pink top with some cute pink shorts....she came in the living-room with blue socks and bright red tennis shoes (from 4 th of July last year - they don't even fit) on...I made her change in that case - BUT she has picked out some other wild clothes before - as long as they are comfortable, appropriate for where she is going, and won't be distracting (for school, etc) i don't mind if she dresses herself...I normally pick out her clothes and let her pick her jewelry.

my girls pick out their clothes for school the night before, thay are pretty good at matching things up, my beef is they have drawers full of clothes and want to wear the same thing over and over. I keep telling them people are going to think you only have a few articles of clothing....Mix it up girls.  Then it kills me when we go shopping they want me to buy them new clothes and i tell them why you just wear the same thing all the time.  LOL!!!
