As a child, I read all the time! I wish I had more time to read these days. I still read just not as much as I would like. As a child, I didn't have a favorite fictional character that I admired or wanted to be. I just loved reading. I read series stuff Sweet Valley High, The Baby Sitters' Club, R.L. Stine, Christoper Pike books, a lot of the young fiction. As a late teen, I started reading stuff like Making Out series by Katherine Applegate (but at the time they were not called Making Out series),  "Remember Me" by Cheryl Lanham (I still won't part with this book), The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton, and The Diary of a Young Girl (aka The Diary of Anne Frank.)

I am all over reader these days. I prefer biographies. I don't read romance novels or mystery. I love John Steinbeck's "East of Eden" and "Of Mice and Men." I pretty much read whatever sparks my interest.
