Ok, it started a week ago, me n my bf got into a big blow up. Well he told me he had decided to work it out. Well yesterday he let me know that it was pretty much not happening. He knew from the day he told me he was gonna try to work it out that he didn't feel that way. So after an hour of tears and trying my best not to be a mean ass bitch, and pull abunch of bitchy my kids my way card. Today he is workin gon finding a  way back to KY. So me and my kids will go with my mom to North Carolina and go on with our lives, and he can go his way and go on with his life. But the pain is still pretty much weghing heavily on my heart.

Being a single mom isn't easy - that is obvious - but it is very rewarding.  It sounds like you have some help from your mom - and maybe other family - that is really good.  I was a single mom for over three years - it was tough...but well worth all the effort.  I have a ton of respect for single parents and for the other parents who still do their part and take care of what is there's.  Keep your chin up - things will work out.

ps - I am in KY - want me to find him and give him a swift kick in the pants?

Jun. 3, 2008 at 10:12 AM I had almost the same thing happen to me!   I moved out to CA with my boyfriend got pregnant and he just left.  He told me a couple times he would work it out but never did so here I am back in MN with my mom and my family!  It's frustrating at first but you will get over it for the most part.

I wish you all great luck, and hope the best for you. Being a single mom is hard but you seem to have a good strong head on your shoulders so maybe this is for the best!!!   Forget about that guy, if he can't step up to the plate then why even bother!! You stick with family and those that care about you!!

*hugs* Keep your chin up, things will get better!

I sorta know what your going through. I'm 33 weeks pregnant with my first and the father took off a little over a month ago while I was at workf. We just moved to North Carolina from New Jersey to be by HIS family and now he bounced back to Jersey.  I have no family out here just his (who are really supportive but it's not the same) I haven't even heard from him and don't plan on it either.. if you need someone to talk to hit me up.. my myspace is www.myspace.com/mslizz84... where in NC you move to?
