It's Been Awhile

My life is so ordinarily interesting. I used to have so much to write about here. Our house could be in turmoil a few times a week all because of Mad Funny Man I. So much revolved around his behavior.

Temper tantrums, dealings with siblings, breaking things, yelling, hitting, I could go on and on. And I am not over exaggerating. If you have a kid like this, you know what I mean. Life can be turned upside down, and the drama can get really bad!!

Our lives are quite boring now. The tantrums are gone. AND I mean GONE! Funny Man's worse offense? When he gets upset now, he mumbles. Yes, mumbles. Mumbles how unfair his life is. Mumbles how it's unfair that Big Bro J gets to go swimming and he doesn't.

He mumbles. I love mumbling.

I love it! I'm so happy to hear that you have found a solution for your son. We are seeing some improvements just by ridding our home of red dyes.

Can I put an order in for mumbling?

Awwwww!!!! That's great!!!

 I've been avoiding red40 now and sodas. When I read your article about funny man, I now checked the ingredients of all the food my baby intakes. It does make a difference.

Jun. 3, 2008 at 1:40 PM Really Rocky, I can't even tell you how awesome that is. And even what an effect you have on others. My husband and I were at the grocery store and he wanted iced tea mix. Well all of the instant mixes have Red 40 in them (which he realized because now he scrutinizes all labels). I picked up a box of regular tea which needs to be brewed and said this is natural....he said, perfect, I'll just have to brew my own from now on! How cool is that???

Good for you!

We have had great success treating my son's adhd with diet as well.

I started with red dye and eventually went whole hog and joined feingold.  I wrote our story in my journal. 

Now wouldn't it be nice if our government  chipped in and did something about this.  Think of all the kids who suffer and the parent has no idea.  All so food companies can make their food look more appealing to kids.  They use it for marketing at the expense of children.  Well, I won't go off on a tangent.
