I loved reading when I was a kid.  I wanted to spend all my time indoors with a book, but my mom forced me outside.  I didn't really have a favorite character, but my favorite book was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  I read it at least a hundred times.  I still have all of the books from my childhood. I should pull them out and reread them.

I love going back and reading my childhood books.  It makes me feel all warm and happy.

I was sick a lot as a kid so I was always stuck inside and books were my bestest friends!  When I ran out of books I would read dictionarys or the phone book.  Phone books are damn interesting!

Jun. 4, 2008 at 12:27 PM I loved reading.  I remember going to the library in one town where we lived and I LOVED that library.  It had such a cool kids section and the adult's section was neat- the way it was laid out and decorated.  During the summer we had the traveling library in a van that came to the school where we went and we'd run down there once a week.  I STILL love to read.  Favorites: Anne of Green Gables.
