When I think of the supposed "Dream Ticket" it sounds more like a nightmare to me!!!

Okay, call me a crazy tinfoil-hat conspiracy theorist, and I am really not trying to upset ppl at all with this confession, but I truly believe that if given the VP slot, Hillary Clinton might do the unthinkable if the Dems win in November! Meaning, I think she would not be above hiring someone to do something awful to Obama, so then she could "rightfully" be the President! I mean, look at the Vince Foster case! And here, the stakes are even higher for her! If Obama -- GOD FORBID -- is (I'm not going to say it because I hate that word, but basically goes the way of JFK, RFK, and MLK) then she would be President. And after all her campaign tactics, I am so sorry to say, I just can't put it past her anymore.

I hate to say something so inflammatory and controversial, forgive me, but I've felt this way for a long, long time and now, with everything drawing to a close and all this talk of "unity", the idea of him putting her on the ticket has me really, really, REALLY nervous!!! Does anyone else feel this way?

Jun. 3, 2008 at 3:01 PM You're not the only one. I've only said it to my husband, but I do worry about her in the #2 spot. I'm not one to think the Clinton's are above that (call me terrible), and I voted for Bill twice.

Jun. 3, 2008 at 3:12 PM wow....never thought about it, but it isn't a totally hairbrained idea that something like that could happen....I certainly hope not (and I hope that the nightmare ticket doesn't exist for that to even be an option).

Jun. 3, 2008 at 3:15 PM I don't think she'd do something like that.  She's just a person, not the monster that the press makes her out to be.  I know her campaign hasn't been run clean, or well at all....but if she were a man being aggressive, being negative, or running a dirty campaign.....well, she'd just be any other politician.   I actually think putting her on the ticket would be a GOOD thing because then all those crazy old Clinton supporters would stop whining about voting McCain instead and we'd definitely get a Democrat in office.  Seriously though, the president is very well protected by the Secret Service and unless HRC can do some serious mind control on everyone or convince the entire inner circle of the White House to go along with a conspiracy, she couldn't pull it off if she wanted to.  (and I don't think she would want to anyway).

Jun. 3, 2008 at 11:19 PM Good point, feministmama.  There is much more Secret Service protection today than in Kennedy's day.
