I read everything under the sun--including some things I shouldn't have--like The Thornbirds by Colleen McCullough at age 9. But the one series of books I adored the most: Anne of Green Gables. I guess it's because her life seemed so...simple...compared to the way things are today. No email, no internet, no iPods, etc...(well, there weren't iPods when I was 9 either...lol).

So I guess I kinda wanted to be her. But then again, I've always thought I was born in the wrong century. :)
