...weren't supposed to be read until I was in the 5th or 6th grade.  By the time I was in 1st grade, I was reading (and comprehending) C.S. Lewis's Narnian Chronicles.  I remember picking up The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, sitting in my spot between the big trunk and the couch and reading about Narnia.

When I was in the 5th grade, I was reading Piers Anthony's Xanth series and comprehending the majority of the puns and jokes.

So, pretty much by the time I got to high school, my grade level books bored me.  I didn't read too much for awhile.  Then I read Stephen King.  A few years ago, I started reading Sherilyn Kenyon.

Jun. 4, 2008 at 8:28 AM I actually just started reading the Chronicles of Narina.  I am on Prince Caspian right now.  I want to read it before seeing the movie.
I have been reading for as long as I can remember.  Anything I could read, I did.  I had a four door filing cabinet full of books growing up.  Now we have three large bookshelves full of books between me, dh and dd.  We all love books.  I read everything.  Suspense, horror, murder mystery, nonfiction, fanstasy, sci-fi, self help, religion.  I love it all.
