Just to clarify . . . .  .

The only thing that makes a person a Christian is their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  Believing that he died for our sins and was risen.  That's it.

Being a Christian doesn't mean you attend church, pray, believe or not believe in doing/not doing certain things (like abortion, swearing, drugs, etc.)  It may be what you decide to be right/wrong through the teachings of the bible, but they don't make you a Christian.

So true! The Lord part I think is the hardest. So many people find it easy to believe in who He is and what He did, but still don't desir Him to ve Lord of their life and truly embrace the amazing gift he offers! None of tha other stuff will get you to heaven!

On a side note, even though none of those things mentioned is a requirement, i think some of those things (church, praying) can totally enhance our relationship with our Lord. It is all about relationship!

 Great post, Karri.

Exactly!  if you truly embrace Him and His word, the rest will follow.
