The "What Is That" posts are not intended to make you feel bad.  They are not attacking your choice.  I don't know why people are posting comments that say those types of things. If you feel bad because you couldn't breastfeed, I understand. However, I feel like we should know what is in formula.  Knowledge is power, Mamas.  Maybe some of the information I provided will influence you to contact your formula maker and demand higher standards. If you feel attacked, you need to do some serious internal assessments to figure out why you feel like that. I made no comments about your mothering, nor your choices so there must be something inside of you making you feel that way.By the fact that so many people can read entirely too much into something.  Do you think McDonalds posts nutritional information to "make you feel bad" or to "tell you that you are a bad mother"?No, silly child, they do it to INFORM YOU so that YOU can make an INFORMED CHOICE. The world is not required to sugarcoat information for fear of stepping on your toes.  Furthermore, there are people out there who may not be aware of the information that I am posting.  Do they not deserve to know?  Or should we just keep it a secret from them, because the very mention of said information causes your heart to flutter?  Be for real.  I am going to post whatever I want on my journal.  You are welcome to leave comments that make you seem even more ill-informed (Better to keep silent and have people think you are a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt). They honestly don't hurt my feelings, nor do they change the truth.  So.....GROW UP, OR KEEP MOVIING.
