I have been searching for a gently used race car bed now for months.  My oldest is ready to move into a big boy bed which would move my youngest out of my room and into a crib... Yea!!!  But I am having the hardest time finding a bed.  I would like to get a twin one because I think it would be a waste to buy another crib mattress when he will outgrow the toddler one soon enough.  I have even gone and looks at some that I saw on craigslist but they were a total bust.  I'm not going to pay half the original price for something that has missing parts, major scratches and is color faded in places.  So, if anyone in the Portland Area is selling a race car bed for a resonable price I am VERY interested!!!!  Thanks!

Do they come in twin size?  I got mine on sale at Toys R Us about 10 years ago.  It was a floor model, so it was cheap.  It takes a crib mattress.  I didn't know they made them in twin size!

Thanks for all your suggestions... My husband really likes the red one with the bookshelf for a tail fin and has a toy box under the hood but I'm not nearly as picky.  I have just found that people aren't that honest in their discription of the condition it is in.  I wouldn't have a problem with that so much either if gas prices were outrageous and I take our F350 to go pick it up.

 Again thanks!
