My son went on a field trip yesterday to the cone zone. His teacher thought that soy ice cream was ok for him. Shortly after returning to school he had a tantrum. He was crying & huffing. When he got home he was crying over everything.
He has been so good up until this. It has been so nice to be able to relax & not walk on eggshells around him. I think of how different the last few years would have been if they had tested him for food sensitivities sooner.

I saw your post on soy. Are you sure it's the soy and not the cone or the stuff that is in the soy ice cream. I only say that because my son had a reaction to an ice cream once. I know for a fact, because of the feingold food book that the ice cream was free of artificials, but I forgot and got the cone. They approve restaurant food individually. So I should not have gotten the cone.
Any hoo, he was crazy afterward.
Maybe you could try giving him soy ice cream from a health store?
Just a thought in case it wasn't the soy. I know soy can be a problem for some though.
Or maybe he'll be able to have sorbet.
It stinks, but thank you so much for sharing how food can effect your child.
