HERE BELOW IS THE LIST.... of what we need for statewide and city...
Major City Resources needed.. We need Address and PH numbers of Local Branches in all major cities...
Major City Resources needed.. We need Address and PH numbers of Local Branches in all major cities...
-Family Services
-Welfare Department (STATE Assistance) for needy families
-Food Stamps, Cash Asst, Job Program, Child Care asst. Medical all of this Is all usually with the family services for state asst. (welfare dept)
-Child Support Division
-Housing section 8 dept. for county's
-Telephone asst. IS NOT apart of family service (contact local PH company)
-Energy asst NOT apart of family services contact your local electric comp.
-Community Head Start
-Early Childhood Education
-Wic (Women Infant and Children) for food and stuff
-Schools directory number only for that city or county
-Local police station in city
-Nearest Court BOTH civil and Justice
-Restraining order dept.
-Victim Advocates dept.
-Parole and Post Prison Supervising Dept.
-Legal Aide
-Any free medical Dept.
-Hospitals
-Shelters
-Food Box
-Salvation Army
-St Joseph De Paul if you have one
-American Red Cross
-Women's Crisis Centers
-United way
-Family Building Blocks
-Therapy or intervention's for all kinds of needs
-Employment hot lines
-Unemployment dept.
-Place that help you find jobs, Usually called Human Resources or Personnel Services
-Social Security office
-MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL... A LIST OF CRIME VICTIMS RIGHTS IN YOUR STATE! VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT!
There will be a tab on your state home page that will say Know your Crime Victims Rights. And that tab will take you to a separate page that list all rights and statues.
PS!!! PLEASE only email me ONE CITY at a time with the resources that are checked off the LIST. It is WAY to time consuming to sort through all the resources and to what city it goes to. I don't have that type of time. It is way easier for me to insert them into the website just by Right Click Copy then Paste. Because I still have to change and modify font and connect links in the website alone. Thank you for your understanding.
THESE ARE LONG TERM GOALS TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE RESOURCES IN EVERY MAJOR CITY TO HELP MAKE LIFE THAT MUCH EASIER FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE> FOR ONE DAY PEOPLE WILL DEPEND ON OUR PAMPHLETS IN THESE OFFICES IN THE LIST ABOVE> LETS PROVIDE THIS INFO AND TRUST!
Most of us once was in the shoes of Victims just getting out and knew how hard it was to find out all of our options and where to go to get it. Now we can make a difference. And knowing they have options and they do not ave to DEPEND on there abuser for finical HELP, will help make them want to get out even more and stay out. Hopefully start changing laws soon to help keep victims SAFE once they do choose to get out and stay out. THANK YOU FOR EVERY ONE SUPPORT!
