Sigh....it finally happened...Fred, is dead. I found him on the ground today. George is hanging in there, but he's already showing signs of shrivel...I guess twins really ARE a lot alike!!!
The cucumbers are still microscopic, but hanging in there pretty well. My tomatoes are blooming...now if I can only get some effing (ahem) tomatoes themselves, I'd feel a whole lot better!
I guess I never should have made that comment about my brown thumb wilting!!!

Adam told me that the soil should always be moist. Shrivel is a sign that they're not getting enough water. He also said that Miracle Grow is the best fertilizer you can use, so that wouldn't be the problem. He said the amount of sun is good too. Hopefully this helps! We'll keep George in our prayers!

Sorry to hear about Fred.....I hope George gets to feeling better soon. It takes hard work to gain a green thumb i have luck with some of mine and others i just can't seem to get right. I have a green thumb for roses and corn and strawberries, when it comes to tomatoes or cucumbers forget it. They wilt-up and die every time. I haven't figured out the right method yet. Good luck, best wishes and God Bless.
