My 8 Year Anniversary Trip

It was just a day trip but it was very romantic and very sweet of my husband.  He planned it all out and even got the babysitter lined up.  All he told me was be dressed and ready to go at 8am and pack some warmer clothes just in case.  So he surpised me and took me up to Alexandria Bay, NY, which about 2 hours from here.  He rented us a boat and he took me out to Heart Island to see Boldt Castle.  You can look up Boldt Castle at  http://www.boldtcastle.com/visitinfo.html  and see all about it.  It is really old and it was sad that it was so run down and people have written all over the walls and carved into the walls.  They are working on restoring it though.  It was so beautiful!!  He even packed us a picnic lunch to eat on the boat, but it was too cool and we ended up stopping at Cracker Barrel on the way home..lol, but it was the thought.  This was on May 29, by the way.  I took a ton of pictures!!  You see them on my myspace at   http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=72236825&albumId=1832385   .  I also put some below.  I also posted a blog about it.  I am an amateur photographer so forgive all my strange and wierd shots..lol.  It was really nice to get away without the kids and spend some time just us!
