I am so happy I could dance a jig! 

As the title suggests, we had our first unrelated, not a close friend, nor one of her daycare teachers, babysitter last night. 

It was really great.  She arrived at 6pm, which gave her and MissAdventureMonkey a chance to get to know each other before we left.  (and also for me to get a quick shower in....lol)  I showed her around the house, where things were kept, phones and numbers... etc. (I guess the regular routine), and then when we asked MissAdventureMonkey how she felt about Mommy and Daddy leaving for the evening she said.   "BYE MOMMY & DADDY!" 

I was floored!  There were no tears, no whining, no begging us to stay with her, just "bye!" 

You can bet we left ASAP before she changed her mind!  LOL  And when we got home she was asleep in her room, and had gone to sleep nice and easy for MissTiffany. 

This morning she announced to me that she had gone to sleep "all by her own" and was just as happy as normal....   until he bashed her poor little face into the wall jumping off the end of her bed.  (poor klutzy monkey)
