party was in the plans for today. Brunch~~12-3. And we hosted it. Lots of fun. I knew most of the kids who came;just not all of them. It was nice putting names to faces that Stephen would talk about. Since graduation is on Monday, this is party weekend. He's at one right now and earlier, another one was going on. Tomorrow, the parties start at noon. We never had that many parties during graduation time. But, we didn't have 895 kids in our class either. I was off for 3 days before the party. I was planning to get so much done. But, my body decided that it would rather be sick with 101 temps & sleep all day. Ruined my plans. But, I did get the floor mopped and get a few other things done when I would feel a little better.I know I did too much but that's what mamas do--do too much. So, hubby & I got up early today & rushed around & the party turned out perfectly. After we cleaned up, I laid down & took a 30-min. nap. Felt good to do that. As my 18yo son said--this is one way to get the spring cleaning done.

A Boy with Autonomic Dysfunction - The Miller Family
Our Special Life
Oliver was born after having suffered a stroke while in his mother's womb. The resulting brain injury is called Dysautonomia (Autonomic Dysfunction). His doctors believe the stroke was the result of the miscarriage of his twin. Oliver is completely blind and his underdeveloped brain stem makes basic physical functions a challenge. In spite of all this, he is a happy, go-lucky, 12-year-old boy, and his mom wants people to meet the real Oliver, not just his medical hardships.
