friends

so i had alot of friends in high school...but that seems like forever ago.....i had a couple of good friends...and then one moved...and the other just became mean...she tried to break me and my hubby apart and i dont understand why.....but iknew i didnt need that extra drama in my life and we stopped talking i am friends with my hubbys friends and their wives but they just dont feel like my friends...i never talk to them or hang out with them without him there.....so it kinda sucks not having any friends t just call during the day or go hang out with or just have coffee with...especially with three kids you need to socialize with someone over the age of 6 every now and then....and husbands dont qualify.....i cam on here a lil while back to try to meet people.....but....ive yet to actually "meet" anyone....or talk to anyone other than on here....does anyone else feel as thought they dont really have anyone they can talk to or hang out with?

I feel that exact way.... I have only lived here for 2 years and when i first moved up here I met a girl that I thought was cool and we could be friends till she tried to mess with my husband.  Then I had a really good friend that I did everything with and when I got pregnant she just became mean to me and just abandoned me.... So now I'm in the same situation as you.... I know exactly how it feels....
I still have contact with friends back home but thats 4 hours away and hard to make it that way alot....

Jun. 8, 2008 at 12:58 PM I felt like that too for the longest time. I moved to the area I live in now when my hubby and I got married. I grew up in a big city an hour and halp a way. So I lost contact with my "friends" back home. So for about 7 years of being here, my hubby's friends and their spouses were my friends. But only when we were all hanging out. Its exactly what your talking about. They weren't really my friends. But luckily, I've met some great moms on here that live in this area.

Jun. 8, 2008 at 1:05 PM i live in sarasota....and for some reason it seems like all the other local moms congragated and got pregnant at the same age at the same time....they have kids that are almost the exact same age and alot older than i am.....so that kinda sucks too....
