my little cousin is in remission!!!

my 4 year old cousin emily was diagnosed with Leukemia two years ago, the same time my grand mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. its been a year since-my grandmother passed away..miss you! so my cousin found out by total accident that she had cancer. the day care mixed up her immunization records with another child and left a note for my aunt to get them updated. she was almost due or her next does of vaccines so they went and did it anyway. they doctor also did some blood work for some strange reason and found out she had leukemia. shes been doing chemo and all and taking medicine that makes her sick for a looooong time. practically living in the hospital in st pete. all along with good spirit...even when she had no hair. her beautiful golden curls are growing back and shes getting better the cancer they say is gone. it was inthe bone marrow which is very tough to ge a grasp on. but they think she will be ok. what a fighter. im so happy for her. i was very worried she wasnt doing well for a long time and after grandma passed away we were very scared for emily. but it seems as though her life is loking up. just wanted to share.
