GRE Vocab Help

[RFW]

 Any one have good tips for memorizing words? I need to shore up my vocab for the GRE (on 7/24 and maybe 8/12) and I suck at memorization.

Any serious tips welcome!

Jun. 11, 2008 at 8:33 PM My teacher once told me read it 7 times and you will remember, lol. Seems to have always worked. But for real if you have specific words you are tyring to memorize, use flash cards. Stacy had to learn a whole new field of vocabulary (stuff we would never use in normal life) for police academy and we did use flash cards. I used flash cards to help me study until I was 18 years old. Also writing the words and their definitions yourself help. And maybe crossword puzzles??
