So my four year old son... four years old... is very small for his age I guess. I am so not exagerating when I say that EVERYWHERE I GO people ask me if he's at least almost 3. He's always about a whole head smaller than all the children his age and is skinny but totally ripped! He's very muscular for his size. He speaks in sentences almost always perfectly, so people get shocked by his smarts vs. size. I am so tired of his feelings being hurt whenever people put him down right in front of him and I have been getting more and more defensive toward people! Just yesterday, when the kids and I went for a trip to the grocery store, a complete stranger stopped me and asked how old he is. I told her 4, and asked her why she asked me that! She said her grandson will be 3 this week and they are the same size... shocker there... and she said she was blown away be his wide range of vocabulary. DUH! Anyways, I am so sick of people interferring with his bubbly little personality... yes, he only weighs 34 pounds at 4 years old and is shorter than most; but why do people feel they have a right to comment about him?

Probably the same people who think they can ruba pregnant belly of a stranger - or just come up and touch your baby. UGH! How annoying.
My son was small for his age but he caught up to everyone at age five. Huge growth spurt....
