So I had my 38 week appointment today and my Dr informed me that he was going to be out of town next week.....great. My C section is still scheduled for the 24th but if I go into labor earlier than that, he wont be here. So he said he was going to check my cervix today and if I had the slightest bit of change from last week that he'd send me to the hospital and we'd get this show on the road. WOOO HOOO!!!! Now mind you I pushed mowed my front lawn last night because I was so determined to go into labor. Didnt work by the way, all I got out of it was a nicely mowed lawn. My husband, as well as the rest of the neighborhood thought I was going insane! Anyways, I got SUPER excited. I thought....ok....by 38 weeks I should atleast be SOMETHING........WRONG!! My Dr informed me that my cervix was like Fort Knox!!!! Fort Knox! Those were his exact words! My cervix is going down!! This means war!
