My little Megan Rae was born June 2nd at 4:02 pm,she was 8lbs 8oz and 21in. long. She has had trouble feeding and sleeps too much. It makes me wonder if they took her too soon (was 38 weeks and 5 days based on ultrasound at 13 weeks gestation). When she left the hospital she was Jaundice(10.3, now down to 4.4) and her weight went down to 7lbs 4 oz. (now back up to 8lbs). She is doing better, but it is so hard to wake her up. They had to feed her in the ER intravenously, that was quite the ordeal.

Congrats on the new baby, sweetie!! Erin was like that too, jaundiced....and sleepy. (they took her almost ten days early).
Once the liver starts breaking down the bilirubin (not sure of spelling), she will become more alert. You can also bottle feed her sugar water (glucose water) BUT check with her pedi first. That is to help flush liver/kidneys My advice is 17 yrs old today (Erin's 17th bday today lol), so verify everything....I am just hoping to help where I can. Hugs, sweetie!! and Congrats..... ♥ Tatiana
