Well he was six days late. But he is here. Here is the story. I had a doctors appointment the thursday before Memorial weekend and my doctor thought I wouldnt make it till tuesday. Well guess what I did but I woke up that morning feeling a little strange. I went to my doctors appointment hoping for some good news and He said I was still the same. So he wanted to induce which was fine with me. He wanted me at the hospital by 4. I checked in and then the weirdest thing happened. I went to pee in a cup for the drug test and i had my bloody show. My doc showed up at 6 and checked me and said I was at a 3 and he is just going to break my water instead of giving me pitocin. Well by 8:30p.m. I was getting really strong contractions (they hurt really bad). The nurse checked me and said I was only at a three and a half and they really shouldnt give me an epi yet. so they gave me some nubane. That only took the pain away for an hour and a half. At about 10:30p.m. I finally got the epi. That was a wonderful drug. Then all the sudden at about midnight they gave me an oxygen mask and told me to lay on my left side. I asked why ? They said his heartrate was dropping a bit. Well it didnt improve so they call my doc cause I stalled out at a 5. Well to cut this short they took him by c-section and he was born at 2:41a.m. At 8lbs 5oz. 21inches long. I dont think he was going to come out the other way anyways. I am such a little person. I only weighed 98lbs before becoming preggo. Anyways thats his story and if I had to do a c-section again i wouldnt hesitate. I was scared at first but it wasnt really that bad. I was in a little pain afterward but that was all.
