Em's Room Redo! The before pics! Update~ Added some paint colors!

Well, I dropped the kids off at UNI yesterday. It was the hardest thing I've done yet. =( Now, to pass some of the six weeks that they will be gone, I'm doing em's room! I have invited some of her friends to come help so, this could get interesting..... ;)

Here are some of the before pics of her room....... I haven't painted it since we moved in in 2000......lol! And yes, we will have to put a coat of kilz on that pink! YIKES!

Here is what I am making the new valances out of.....

Now....... anyone have any ideas of how to deal with the 8 billion beanie babies! She won't part with them so, I have to work them in some how. I'm sick of the 3 pet nets stuffed full.......

Oh! Did I mention the purple rope lights! Yeah, she bought those on clearance a couple years ago to put up in there.....lol!

Jun. 17, 2008 at 3:50 PM I wish I knew what to say to do with the beanie babies.. maybe try making a shelf to run along near the ceiling where she can put them?? I'm not sure.. Good luck and have fun with her room though!!!

Jun. 17, 2008 at 5:03 PM Alexandria has her beanie babies in a flat and long type of clear rubbermaid storage thingy that rolls under her bed.  That way they stay clean and dust free!  How exciting!  I can't wait to see it all done!
