What I Lost and Wish I still Had

With my mother's death 2 months ago I became the last adult living member of my family...at 52yrs old... Grandparents, mother/father, brother/sister, husband all are gone. I feel scared and lonely A LOT and miss a laugh shared, a hug, a shoulder to cry on. Most of all I miss all the little irritating things my loved ones used to do... So ladies, don't "sweat the small stuff" that annoys you, give thanks for it every day. mjosephine

Jun. 17, 2008 at 9:33 AM Just sending you some love, sweetie.  I can imagine your pain although I do have some family.  Losing so much is hard and then not having anyone there - ugh - don't know what I'd do.  Lost my mom 4 years ago.  Still have dad but he is failing fast.  It really sucks.  If ya need a friend to lean on, give me a shout.

Jul. 13, 2008 at 7:39 PM Sorry to hear about your mom. I sent you a reply to your message re my book.   So, we have something in common. No mother. I also lost my dad to lung cancer in 98. they were divorced. I miss my mom.  I have a letter I'd like to send you it's called "you know you're better when..."

I am so sorry for your loss.I'm sure your mom was your rock.I still have my mom .She's 74 and I'm her cargiver.I can't imagine not having family even though they're disfunctional.They say you can't pick your relatives but you can pick your friendsFriends can be  supportive  sometimes better than family .

I saw your post and I wanted to let you know that you are now my friend and write anytime. I will pray for you and I know that with others helping your life will get better. I am almost 62 and my mom and dad have been gone many years. I have one sister and she is in the hospital. Know that you will have many friends very soon looking out for you. Take care  Lynn
