My stepson is the sweetest young man!

My stepson, Tyler, brought tears to my eyes last night.  He stopped by to see his dad and wish him "Happy Father's Day".  My husband didn't get home until late from work so Tyler and I had a long time to just talk.  He asked if dh and I were going to have another baby.  I told him that DH said "I already have 2 children."  Tyler said "well, you can tell people that you have 2 children also." !!!!!!!  What a sweet and loving comment!  He then said "when people ask about my mom, I ask them which one?"  It brought tears to my eyes. 

His real mom is a wonderful person.  She has not let past negativity or feuding to affect her son.  (she and dh had Tyler when they were only 15, so it was not a good situation for a long time with the adults at the time acting very ugly).  I have a lot of respect for her.  She gave up most of her dreams at such a young age, but she grew into being a really good momma.  She deserves a lot more than she has. 

 I just had to share!
