A very dear friend of mine lost his son yesterday to SIDS. he was only 3 months old, and he got called home to heaven. It's not fair....no parent should have to bury their child, not this early; not at all. And to die because of SIDS is even more pointless. You have children being beaten and tortured and sold into slavery, but to take a child from two very loving parents just doesn't make sense. I knoe God may have a master plan, but I wish he'd fill us in on it. R.I.P. Brendan Seamus Donnelly. The three moths you were here will be treasured forever.

I am so sorry for your friends loss.  My heart grieves deeply for them.  The loss of one of my children is my greatest fear.  My miscarriages have been painful enough as is.  I couldn't imagine the depth of loosing a baby like this.  I still get hit with fear when my daughter (2 next month) sleeps longer than usual.  (((HUGS))) to you all.  I know it must be hard for you too being a friend.

As far as God...I can not give an answer to His purpose.  I can say that death is part of life and it touches each one of us no matter our age.  My childrens' times were but a flicker but they had a huge purpose in my life and in getting me back to God.  Now, He uses me to minister to other moms (and dads from time to time) who are going through the grief of loosing a child.  He has given me glimpses into part of His purpose for my many losses but I'm sure there is even more beyond what I have seen.  And, now there are 6 spirits in Heaven ruling and reigning with Jesus for all eternity.

As hard as his death is, at least he died in his sleep and was not one of those brutilized.  He died loved; from love to perfect love.
