Too Many Losses

On January 23, 2007 I lost my husband, on February 11th, 207 I lost my 17 year old Grandson and February 7 of 2008, I lost my Mom, I wish I still had them all.  They say God doesn't give you more than you can handle, well, I think he made a mistake, this is too much to handle on most days.  He did make up for it somewhat by sending me two more beautiful Grandbabies, Kylee 1 and Aiden, 10 months.

Jun. 26, 2008 at 12:44 PM I agree.. sometimes I feel like God has made a mistake and given me more than I can handle, but that is why God gives us friends, so that when we can't handle it, someone else can.  Hope that made some sense.

So sorry to hear of your losses. I can relate well with them: My mom passed in 2002, sister in 2004, brother murdered in 2005 , mother in law passed on 03/21/08 and yes most days I think that I have been given more than I can handle but then again, God knows how strong I can be when I have to be.

I pray a lot here lately, my faith is starting to show again. When I'm really down I just pray that much harder and things start looking a bit brighter.

I am sorry for your losses. I lost my daughter in November 2006, on her 24th birthday. She left two babies and I have a hard time dealing with this loss. I just get through everyday because of my children and my grandkids. I just miss her very much everyday.

I know how you feel on Feb. 9 th my dad died in a fire actually he died on feb 8th of this year. but it wasn't til the 9 th of feb. when they  found him and his girfriend's bodies. I kow this losses don't stop. then insept/ we lost our cat who was a member of our family for 3 yrs. I had to tell my three yr.old and that was hard. but he understands that tiger (our cat) is heaven with his grandpa

So very sorry for all your loses. Words can not suffice, you have support and a friend in me at all times. God never closes a door and not open a window and he gave you two beautiful grand babies. No one can take the place of another but, it sure can help....Gentle hugs to you.....Dolly-Z-bee
