what have i lost that i wish i still had

that would be my step daughter. i raised her as my own for eight years. i took care of her, potty trained her, gave her medicine when she was sick. but  now, her father and i are divorcing and he wont even let me speak to her. i also found out that he and his new girl friend told her that its because i dont want her any more
