Got his shots yesterday... No fun!

I find it interesting that whenever I do something with dr.s or medicade that they ask for shot records. Medicade doesnt even want your ssc # they want shot records.  So basically I can be an illegal alien gettting medicade, but I better have my shots.I really think we are all guinnee pigs. It sickens me that I got him his shots. I feel really guilty...I guess I know how non-breast feeding moms feel now...with everyone critisizing them etc...

At least we waited till the 2 month. They were freaking out that he didnt get any shots in the hospital...and when I tell people that he wasnt born in a hospital...they freak even more. " Ahhh... he hasnt had any shots?" omg! Like what? Is he gonna fuckin die any minute? Take a chill pill people!!!!! Its like they are brain washed or something. Like a computer..."does not compute" Two diferent nurses came in , questioning the other one...like" ahh... it says here he hasnt had any shots?" did susie forget to write it down? no moron! He hasnt had any shots!!!! So then the other one comes back..."ok, so...he hasnt had any shots? " OMG!

Damn it! I really didnt want to do it. but i took the same advice that my midwife gave me with my daughter...if you dont plan on putting your kid in daycare, and you plan on homeschooling... or private school, then they wont get exposed to all the germs...and they are not going to have built up the same immunitys...so you should get them their shots... I dont know. I feel ignorant, and like a hipocrite. But my hubby, my mom, his mom, and everybody wanted us to do it.

We didnt listen to anybody, and didnt get him circumsized! Thank god. I couldnt bare to watch them stick a needle in his leg much less cut him! Ahhhh!

He is really taking it quite well. or maybe Im just more patient. I remember my daughter freaking out and crying for 3 days when I got her shots.  It seems like hes sleeping alot, and spitting up alot. But no fever! yay!

i understand what u are going through i stopped taking my oldest daughter after 9m shot and now my hubby's parents thinks am not a good mum cause am not taking care of my kids or they dont have their shots. i dont want to be rushing my kids to the hospital for small stuff which they want if my kids snizzes or cough they want to take them to the dr
