Mine haven't changed much.
You see, we play Dungeons and Dragons most Saturday nights. My husband and I actually met gaming in 1984 and have RPGed together most weekends ever since. The current campaign, which has been running some 15 years, has grown out of the original game we met in.
We play at our home for two good reasons. Firstly hubby is the Game Master which means he is 'God' controlling the game. We provide most of the scenery and painted figures that represent people in the game so by playing here we don't need to work out what we need to pack and take it anywhere. Secondly, we are the only ones gaming regularly in the group who have kids. If we play here the kids are in their own environment with all the things they are interested in available to them to entertain them. If we went elsewhere we would have to pack them and their Stuff to take along or arrange baby-sitters (or now, leave them alone) which isn't a good scenario for every Saturday night!
The main difference with our games now is that the girls are older - they are 12 and 13 instead of 7 and 8. That means that I don't need to break into the game half-way through the evening and put them to bed. If they are sleepy they put themselves to bed when they are ready. If not - and it's mostly NOT as they are Owls just like their parents - they can stay up until the game finishes around midnight.
The girls also play RPGs. My husband has set up a corner of the 'world' we play in for them to adventure in. I don't play in the games they are involved in as it's good for them not to rely on 'adult perceptions' of the problems they are facing. The hope is that at some point they can be integrated into our games and join in as full participants in those games. They are not yet at that point yet but I suspect it won't be long.
