Natural Pregnancy and Childbirth

Are you trying to conceive, already pregnant, or wishing your last pregnancy and birth were different? This is a community for people who desire a natural pregnancy.
A Natural pregnancy, meaning free from unnecessary medications, painful and often degrading exams, unnecessary ultrasounds and unnecessary C-sections and interventions. We understand that not all pregnancies are problem-free and some require medical intervention. The main intention is to raise awareness so women have access to better information. Making informed decisions can give women much better birth satisfaction. Our information can help shed a light on why intervention-friendly caregivers increase the amount of complications, cesareans, and less satisfying outcomes.
We hope to be able to provide useful information on treating common pregnancy ailments and even some complications with natural remedies, teas, herbs and diet. Pregnancy is natural and normal, it is not something to be feared or an illness that needs to be “treated.”
Another of our goals is Natural Childbirth. Hopefully at home with a midwife but also for those who are not there yet or cannot a safe and intervention free hospital or birth center labor and birth.

This is a DRAMA FREE group, that means no venting posts about other moms. We're here to build up and not tear down. No name calling or bashing. We're not here to debate Natural Childbirth. Please don’t join if you are not truly interested in Natural childbirth.
