My trip Up North

Well this is how my trip went.

We left at 6:00 am and got to Mackinaw City about 10:00 am.  It was really COLD!  Our room was not ready for us yet so we decided to go over to the Island.  We could not believe how much it cost to get over there but we went anyway. (50.00)  We walked around all the and got some really nice pictures of Arch Rock and the bridge.  We rented bikes and went around the whole Island!  That was so much fun!  By the time we were done we were frozen but it was worth it!  I loved the scenery!  God beautiful country!

On Tues we really did not do much because it just had to rain all day and it was a very cold rain!  We did go to see the bridge light up at nigh though!  We really froze doing that! lol!

Wed. We crossed the bridge and went to Castle Rock and to Father Marquette Park.  It was awesome the view from the rock!  Also loved the trail at the park!

Thurs. was come home day:)  Yea!  We went to the Cross in the Woods.  I really loved that!  I had not seen that since I was in high school! 

We came home and I have never been so happy!  I took my baby up and held her so close!  My son was really excited to see me!  My daughters were also happy.

I know I needed the break from them but this trip was not as fun as I wanted it to be:(  All because of the weather.  But we had fun being just the two of us and that is what counts!

We are planning a trip for Michigan Adventures for all of to go on Tues and come home Wed.  I wonder what that is going to be like?  I have never been there and of course the kids have not either!  I am really looking forward to it because it is all the family together!
