I finally joined the rest of the world..

and bought a digital camera! I have always been a firm believer in Film camera's for several reasons the biggest being that we know the longevitiy of film and not of digital images. So..I have stuck to my quite Nice Canon. But this weekend I decided to invest in a Kodak M8931S. First off it's purple which is by far my favorite color and it's small and the perfect size for Disney.  I was able to use the camera for the first time yesterday because we took Collin to a Birthday party at a Bowling alley and this was is first time bowling,  My BIGGEST complaint about the camera (or digitals in general) is the hesitation! I missed some GREAT shots that I knew I would have had if I had used my canon. I was disappointed because most of what I took was delayed reactions. It might just take me getting use to the camera. Also the lightening was terrible and my faces either look like Ghosts or their to dark to make out. I haven't had the chance to upload them to the computer yet, but I'll do that this afternoon and see if I can't figure out how to get them looking a little better and then I'll share them here :) It really wasn't the camera I wanted but it seemed like a Good deal. I wasn't really wanted to invest in an expensive one just something I could use. I'll share the pics when I get home and you can tell me if I chose a good one!  What's your opinion on Digitals? Which do you prefer Film or Digital?

Jun. 23, 2008 at 4:53 PM I think I still like my film the most but dig is nice to have and convienent. Plus digitals are so tiny that one can store teh camera in a bag and not be bothered by the bulk of the film camera.
